Oh, red ruffle skirt, how do I love thee? Let me count the ways. One, two, three, four ways so far! Happy Wednesday friends and welcome to the return of the red ruffle skirt! I shared a picture from the fitting room at Target a while back and today I’m happily sharing some ways to wear this beauty!
First up is an easy to wear look. I added this striped bell sleeve jersey blouse to the skirt. Easy and put together. I’m wearing my new heels (similar).
For my next look I changed to a navy bell sleeve top (similar, similar). I also added a blue and gold necklace. I say this is perfect for work!
Again with the new shoes (similar).
Keeping with the dressier theme I did something I have never done before! I paired my red ruffle skirt with my new light blue gingham top. I have never worn a pastel with red before, have you?
I wasn’t so sure this would work but I actually really like it!
Finally I wanted to see how this skirt would look with a tee and flat sandals. This rounded v-neck tee is a new purchase. I am so pleased with it, I love the fit. I’m wearing a small, it runs big so size down.
Whenever I can I love to pull out my leopard flats (same shoe just not in leopard, option, option). Mixing leopard and stripes is just fine because remember leopard is a neutral! I think by doing this it keeps the look fun too!
I feel like these 4 looks are just the tip of the iceberg with this fun skirt. It’s great for date night, work, or even worn casually instead of shorts. At just $22 it’s a winner – well made and no one would ever guess it was such a bargain! For size reference I am wearing the skirt in a size 4. Ruffles are on trend for Spring and this is an easy and inexpensive way to update your wardrobe.
I appreciate you stopping by today and hope your Wednesday is wonderful!
