Hey friends, I am so happy to chat with you today about my October Closet Additions. October was high volume month in the life of my closet so I have decided to divide the additions up over 2 posts; what I bought and what I was gifted. I’m not sure what happened in October but I found so many things I loved that I ended up adding to cart more than I have in a long time!
Word of warning if you are new here. I wear hair toppers and the occasional wig. You’re bound to see my hair look very different from photo to photo and that’s why. I am trying to normalize wearing helper hair and I am proud to share what I’m doing in hopes it will help someone else.
What I Bought
Walmart got a fair amount of money from me this month. Just when I think I am through shopping there, they go and get me with things like these amazing sweaters (I bought 3) and these pants (so nice I bought ’em twice camo & leopard). Of course I had to get this scuba knit quarter zip and matching pants (it’s better than anything I’ve tried before).
Even though I work with a fair number of Amazon sellers, I still find myself buying the occasional piece or 12 – ha!! This short sleeved cardi is a favorite and so is this little lounge set.
I know you all saw my post on these barrel cords from Target. Trying to show some restraint proves very challenging at times but I did decide to keep just the tan pair. Although I do sometimes think the burgundy pair and I are having some separation anxiety.
With a $10 reward from Loft that was about to expire and a 50% off sale, this pretty top made its way to me. I really like how it’s already styled. It has a zip on the side and couldn’t be any easier!
My Trendsend box from Evereve came last week. These wide leg black denim jeans were too fabulous to return. I am crazy about them, they have a seam down the side that is giving me track pant vibes!
One final entry that I have not yet received but I ordered, this jacket! Remember I mentioned it last week. I am anxiously awaiting its arrival!
A few other things to note, I cannot stop wearing this necklace and find myself planning outfits around it. Kinda easy because it goes with just about everything. My exact one is sold out but there are several that are similar in color and will work with everything as well! I also bought these cute sneakers this month and they have been a great purchase.
Whew! That was a lot of buying in October. The good news is that I spent very little since so many of the purchases came from Walmart. I feel good about each one though and that’s what’s most important. Tell me if you have tried any of these or if you have a favorite!
