Happy Monday, friends! We made it back from Nashville with our son in tow. Moving is a huge process and an exhausting one at that. Not wanting to miss a post for today I thought I’d share a little bit about my life lately. Certainly not because I live an exciting one, nor I do I think I have it all together – actually far from it – but I find when we are honest with one another it’s better for everyone.
Life Lately
Two years ago our oldest son moved to Nashville after graduating college. On Saturday we moved him back to Orlando! He stills works for the same company but since he works remotely he is able work from nearly anywhere. So what brought him back to Orlando? The most perfect girl. Ever.

She graduates with her PhD in Chemistry from UF in August. Long story short, once she graduates she will move up north where her family is – he will go as well. So, we have a full nest for awhile.
We flew up to Nashville on Wednesday night and helped him pack up and clean on Thursday. Thursday night we had a great dinner at Earnest (as in Earnest Hemingway). The food was incredible! No photos were taken of us but we did get photos of the food! After an incredible dinner we went to a very cool speak easy.

On Friday I hung out with Lisa for the day and my husband and son loaded up the UHaul. Friday night Lisa and I met with some other wonderful ladies for dinner and lots of talking! P.S.I wore the outfit I talked about on Friday from Stitch Fix Freestyle.

Saturday we were up bright and early to hit the road by 5am. The drive back to Orlando was long but not difficult.

What I Wore
It was so cold in Nashville, we left 85 degrees in Orlando and arrived to 33 degrees. Of course that meant lots of layers for me and I was loving every minute of it! I wore these sneakers most of the time and these boots when I got dressed up.
I wore this during the day on Friday. Lisa and I went shopping and I snapped this in the fitting room at Nordstrom. What did I buy? Nothing! Actually, I DID buy delicata squash at Trader Joe’s and I was over the moon excited!

For the ride home, I wore comfortable layers and threw my hair in a ponytail. Thank goodness for hats!
Also, thank goodness for my leather moto jacket. I may have regretted some purchases last year but this one was one of the best purchases I made. It is on sale right now too, trust me, there is nothing like real leather and every time I wear it, I get compliments!

A Full House
So we’ll have a full house for about 6 months and I am not complaining. Although the thought of everyone leaving again is not a pleasant one. Our youngest son will start graduate school in the Fall – not sure where just yet and Nolan will be on the move then too.
I am planning to enjoy this season of life and make sure we squeeze a lot in. It will most likely be the last time the 4 of us live under one roof!
Thanks so much for stopping by today, I’ll be back on Thursday! In the meantime, please follow me over on Instagram. My goal of getting to 10K followers is within reaching distance now and I am so thrilled!
