Have you noticed over the last few years that the kick, crop, flare trend seems to becoming kickier, more cropped, and more flared? I have and I have to say, I am here for it! One of the reasons I am really enjoying the trend is that I think it balances out a body and looks good on every figure. If skinny jeans seem to be going by the wayside (at least for now) then I think we’ll be seeing more flares and even wide legs take over. Maybe it has something to do with the interruption of our lives caused by Covid and possible weight gain/lack of exercise but I see that looser, more forgiving cuts are trending. That’s a good thing in my opinion.
My latest acquisition is this white pair – and I am seriously considering getting them in blue denim. Oh, I’ve purchased kick, cropped, flares in the past but they weren’t as kicky or flared as I’d like them to be.
I chose this pretty blue blouse to wear with this pair of kick, crop flare jeans. This light blue is so pretty and this blouse has such pretty details. It’s slightly longer in the back, has a v-neck, and elastic on the sleeves – perfect for pushing them up. The fabric feels like a linen blend – perfect for hot days.
The fun is always in the accessories and this outfit is no exception. I have been craving layered gold necklaces and of course I love stacking on the bracelets whenever I can. These braided sandals are surprisingly comfortable and I find myself reaching for them time and again.
Are you a fan of the kick, crop flare? I think it’s fun and just the slightest bit edgy. I can’t wait to wear these with lots of other pieces in my closet.
