Happy Monday and happy Fall! Here’s hoping you had a fabulous weekend. Ours was busy and this week we are leaving for vacation. I’m equal parts excited and overwhelmed hoping we’ve taken care of everything before we leave. But I digress…
Anyway, it’s Fall and for this Florida gal it means it is now socially acceptable to wear all my fall clothes (even if I am sweating a bit). What I have found is that it’s best to mix some fall pieces with some of my summer pieces. Keeps me comfortable and seasonably appropriate!
I don’t usually make a list of items I need for a particular season although I aspire to be that organized. Instead I pay attention to what keeps catching my eye. Fall of 2019 has me wishing for a few rust colored pieces. This skirt from Old Navy was definitely worth a shot. To my surprise it pairs well with a few of my tops and can definitely be worn now. I can’t tell you how much I dislike buying a garment and having to put it away for several months!
Take a look at how cute this skirt looks with my top from Fashom. I added a stretchy belt and booties. This is the perfect outfit for early Fall in Florida!

I had been on the hunt for a long, white vest and lo and behold I found one on Amazon – surprised, right? It was actually hard to find and I wanted something lightweight. This is very thin material. The best part? This vest cost under $7!
