My new hot pink blazer is taking the stage today. No stranger to pink blazers, I’ve worn one before, here. While I love that blazer, it is on the heavier side so I cannot wear it year round in the hot, humid climate I call home. So when my love of these Walmart blazers was reignited with a recent re-stock I immediately grabbed the hot pink.

Who Can Wear a Blazer?
One thing I hear constantly is, “you wear those blazers so well but I just don’t get dressed up enough to get one” – ha!! Have you met me? I work from home and usually my outings are exciting places like the gym, Target, the grocery store, and church. Oh sure, we go to dinner but living in Orlando means every place is casual.

The hot pink blazer can be worn casually – just like any blazer! Gone are the days (1980’s and 1990’s) when blazers were professional wear only. The power suit has been deconstructed. So today I bring you a totally casual look featuring my hot pink blazer.

This blazer is from Walmart but you will NOT find it in store. It’s not their brand – it’s a third party seller but shipped by Walmart. The quality is amazing as is the price. It’s made of a knit, kind of stretchy scuba material. It does NOT wrinkle. I have traveled with my black blazer – on multiple occasions and it has served me well.

It is NOT boxy; the buttons are functional although I don’t button it. I just love how it comes in at the waist and gives me some shape. It is also not clingy and just the perfect third piece.
Bright colors are trending for spring so you’ll be seeing lots of happy colors, including pink. I have always been a fan of hot pink so this is music to my ears. Not that I want to be trendy but trendy means we’ll see more outfit ideas with this color as well as more options when shopping.
