Hi friends! Thanks for showing up today – I am happy to be back. In almost 10 years of blogging, I’ve never taken such a long break (that I can remember anyway) but it sure felt good. One would think I had lots of time to read books, watch movies, and generally relax but that was not the case. I have been doing a lot of Instagram and TikTok Work – this is a job that just doesn’t end.
I hope you had a wonderful holiday season. We did and sometimes it seems like it was forever ago and other times it feels like just yesterday it was Christmas. Between Christmas and New Year’s we had an exciting development:
We knew it was happening but were not there. Nolan and Emma were visiting her parents in NJ for Christmas and took a trip to Cape May. Nolan hired a photographer and surprised Emma – she was shocked in a good way! No wedding plans anytime soon but we sure are excited and happy for them. Their engagement was definitely the highlight of December!
I will be back this week on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday – be sure to come back then!
