For my American friends today is a very special day. Memorial Day is all about remembering the great sacrifice made by our veterans. I am not sure about you, but when I listen to an interview with a war veteran I usually tear up. I can hardly imagine having the courage and bravery to enlist and serve. My father served and I know the impact on his life was major – in fact that lung disease that ultimately claimed his life in February 2019 is thought to have come from living on an asbestos infested aircraft carrier.
So today I hope whatever your plans may be that you’ll take a moment to reflect on the sacrifice made by so many brave men and women!
