Friday Favorites Sept. 18

Happy Friday friends and cheers to the weekend! Here’s hoping this week was a good one. Of course I am keeping all those affected by Hurricane Sally in my prayers as well as those in California dealing with the fires. Life feels like a science fiction movie for me sometimes. Especially when I am out and about seeing everyone with their masks on. I’m not sure I’ll ever get to used to seeing things like this, how about you?

Focusing on the positive, let’s get to this week’s list of favorites! I’ll start with a favorite purchase of the week. I saw this blazer on one of my very favorite influencers. I tried ordering it and it was sold out! Thank goodness for re-stocks and perseverance. Click add to cart on this one – you will love it!

This jacket is made so darn well, is beautiful, and screams fall. And, it’s under $40! I am wearing a small for reference. I am 5’5″ and 128 pounds. Notice it covers the bum!

Don’t you just hate it when you find a comfortable shoe and the brand stops making it? I have hard to please feet so when I find something that works, I buy multiples. I realized I needed a pair of rust or cognac open toe booties. I searched all over (online of course). Found this pair at Zappos but then went on over to Poshmark and found my beloved pair, in the size and color I wanted. They were worn once or twice – score!

The best part is that I ordered them on Saturday morning right after I ordered from Zappos. They arrived on Monday, the pair from Zappos on Wednesday. While I love the pair from Zappos, they rub the top of my toes, so back they go! You can see my new to me open toe booties in the photos above!

I feel like it’s been a sweet forever since I read a book I could not put down. These two arrived via home delivery from my library yesterday. I can hardly wait to tear into them!

My friend Laura recommended A Good Marriage and Fonda recommended November 9. Nothing gets me excited more than a good book!

If you haven’t heard the news yet, let me be the first to tell you that clay earrings are all the rage right now. They are, trust me. I found a pair that was not only affordable but just what I had in mind. Check them out here. These would look amazing on you and they would also make a great gift! They are not heavy btw.

Now let’s talk about something yummy. Who doesn’t love a rich, chocolaty brownie? I bought this package of mix and made them a few weeks ago. Delicious and not full of bad stuff! Also? You’ll rarely see me post a picture of something I’ve made, I’m too busy devouring it. Sorry!

Wishing you all a wonderful weekend. I have big plans on Saturday to take my favorite 4 year old to a live production of Little Red Riding Hood. I can hardly wait! Do you have any plans?
