Fridays are my favorite days to post content. I just love a good round up of things that caught my eye during the week, don’t you? I’m also excited because I have some fun things coming up! One is this weekend but I can’t share it right now, the other is next weekend – we are taking a trip! We will be flying up to Philadelphia next Friday to help our son do some apartment hunting.
Catching My Eye Lately
No More Blisters
Me and my finicky feet and always having one issue or another. A few weeks ago at my work conference I ended up with terrible blisters on my heels. I wasn’t wearing new shoes and I was wearing my trusty pair of Sheecsocks. So what went wrong? Well, apparently walking a gazillion miles with the odd gait that I have is enough to rub blisters. My feet push forward so hard in my shoes that the heels rub. Such a pain (literally). I saw these on Instagram and immediately ordered them. Let me tell you…these will be coming with me anytime I am doing more than just a quick grocery run. They slide on, they are barely noticeable and they will protect my feel!
Fall Sale 30% off
I have this cardigan in another color but couldn’t help myself with this shade of brown. It’s so beautiful!
Take a look at these wide leg cargo pants. They come in 3 colors – I like the black the best. They run TTS and I think they will be fabulous dressed up or down but especially for the holidays. They remind me so much of the satin pants from Gibsonlook last year that were near $100. They also compare nicely to these wide leg cargos I tried on at Evereve a few weeks ago. Check out the reel I made here.
A Good Book I Read
I quickly read The German Wife by Kelly Rimmer. It was sooooo good! I ordered it from my library and couldn’t put it down. It’s historical fiction and really made me think. I cannot remember who recommended it, but it exceeded my expectations.
Bra Fitting Event at Dillard’s
Last Saturday I hosted a private bra fitting event at Dillard’s. I was asked to invite 20 women – there were 16 of us. It was incredible and I know the women who attended enjoyed themselves. Let this serve as encouragement to get a professional fitting – of the 16 of us, 15 were wearing the wrong size. My sister, in particular, was so excited at how good her new bra looked she called me into the fitting room! I got this bra by the way in the color linen/mineral and like it so much!
Latest & Greatest from Clara Sunwoo
My love and admiration for Clara Sunwoo runs deep. This week they sent me this cropped liquid leather tuxedo jacket. It is incredible. Liquid leather isn’t pleather, it’s not fake leather. It is a special knit fabric that has a finish on it that gives the impression of leather. Lightweight, soft, and with a decent amount of stretch, anything made with this fabric is perfect for those of us living in warmer climates. Of course it will look equally lovely once it’s cold and I layer it but for right now I can wear it out and not worry about heat stroke.
These wide leg twill trousers were also gifted to me. They are perfect! No pleats, the pockets are in the front versus the hips and they do not wrinkle. I like how versatile they are – I can easily dress them up or down. I can wear a heel or a sneaker.
Clara Sunwoo makes the best pieces for travel. Nothing wrinkles, everything looks great on – feminine and edgy! The majority of what I pack for my trip will be Clara Sunwoo. Use my code KELLYANN10 to save if you’d like to try Clara Sunwoo for yourself. I used to hear Hoda and Kathie Lee talk about this brand but I never really believed the hype. Now I’m the one singing the brand’s praises!
That wraps it up for today. I hope you enjoyed a peek at what’s been catching my eye lately, anything catch yours? I wish for you, dear friends, a relaxing weekend filled with love and good times!
