Friday Favorites March 26

Welcome to another edition of Friday Favorites where I love to share all the week’s happiness with you! I hope you have had a wonderful week and if not then I hope you are ready for the weekend to revitalize and energize you!

Thought I’d kick things off with a graphic I made for my Instagram stories yesterday. As a school counselor I preached this to my students all. the. time. Sometimes as adults we need to be reminded of this message as well.

I was so excited to get invited to an “influencer” event at House on Lang. It’s a trendy little shop in Orlando filled with clothing, local art, and home decor. A local business “Instapicnic” catered the event and they had such a cute set up. Basically they deliver a picnic and set it up for you!

On Wednesday I shared this pretty sundress and hinted at wearing it multiple ways. Well, take a look at how I wore it to the event on Wednesday evening! I may like it even better worn as a kimono then I do as a dress!

This week I was thrilled to participate in a style challenge on Instagram! Jodie shared the #thriftedchicstylechallenge with me and it was fun to share some great finds. It reminded me that there are a lot of misconceptions about thrifting. It’s funny to me that people think the clothes are dirty or disgusting – when honestly clothes you try on in the store have possibly been tried on by someone else before you! In any case, I shared some recent finds. Two dresses that I stumbled upon when I was out with my friend Melodie looking for old picture frames. Check out the dresses below! The black dress is from Ann Taylor – I paid $10 for it and the floral dress is a Draper James dress – brand new with tags for $34!

Guess what? I won the challenge! My prize? A $40 gift card to the fun and fabulous Naomi and Ruth Boutique! I’m getting this and I can hardly wait!

Another favorite? This sweet boy right here. He will be 21 tomorrow. I can hardly believe my baby is this old! He is a great son – has a heart of gold and a brilliant mind. To know Collin is to love him, he honestly has such a gentle soul. We are heading to Gainesville tomorrow to take him (and the cousins) to lunch to celebrate.

Target does it again this week with some cute dresses for $20! These two were fun to style with the trendy ombre-tie dye effect. While I like the dresses alone, I think they are even better with accessories! And let me just brag on this belt – you’ll love it. It is affordable and works with so much, adding the perfect touch. You can also get this 3 pack for $10!

Finally, let’s talk about the new Hello Happiness collection at Accessory Concierge. I am in love with all the colorful and fun pieces. Right now you can get them for 20% off with code NATASHA20. Here’s why I like Accessory Concierge – all of their products are well made and worth spending a little more on in my opinion. Each piece I’ve purchased has lasted and still looks as good as it did on day one. I never pay full price and always score the pieces I love when there’s a sale or I have a code (like now!). When I wear this jewelry I get compliments and adding fun accessories is the best way to add spark to any outfit. I am in love with this bracelet, these earrings, and this necklace. But honestly I’d love to own each and every piece! Shop them all here.

On tap for this weekend? No plans for Friday night except making these brownies to bring to our birthday boy. We’ll spend the day in Gainesville on Saturday and then head home. On Sunday I hope to go to church and then get some things done at home. I hope whatever you have planned brings you joy! Thanks so much for stopping by today!
