Happy Friday, friends! This Friday Favorites is going to be a big one because I have so many things that have brought me joy lately. I am thrilled you are here and hope you stay!
Since last week was the 4th of July and I didn’t have a favorites post I’m including some things from the prior week. One of the best things is that my husband retired! We are hosting a party this weekend but he and I went to bingo night at our local Italian restaurant. I mean, really, if you can’t kick off the next chapter of your life in a big way, did you really retire???? Bwahahahahaha!!!

I was off all last week – my virtual school closes the entire week for the 4th. We had dinner with friends and played trivia! It was so much fun! I spent time with my red light mask and also visited several retailers to try on clothes!

Our younger son returned from Japan after 3 weeks. His flight to FL from JFK was delayed due to weather. He was supposed to return and midnight on Tuesday but didn’t actually get home until 2:30am on Thursday! I snapped a picture of Collin and his 2 friends (his best friend and the best friend’s brother) when they were leaving. I did not snap a picture at 2:30 last Thursday morning when they returned. Bless their hearts, they were exhausted!

Since I was off, I didn’t do my normal workouts last week. I walked in my neighborhood instead. You can see my morning routine here. It was nice to sleep in and enjoy the views in my neighborhood.

We hosted our best friends for the 4th of July. It’s been an annual tradition of ours for many years.

The Big Sales
Gosh, this time of year is a crazy one with all the sales! So far I have only shopped the Prime Day Sale. There are quite a few things I already use and have repurchased since the price is lower. I’ve purchased my make up, protein powder for my son, orthotic flip flops, these exfoliating pads, this color corrector that I love, this make up brush, and this tank in black.
Although I plan to do a post on this, I recently purchased two new hair toppers and this one is on sale! I highly recommend these two. They are synthetic but feel and look just like human hair!

I have not even looked at Walmart or Target and I don’t think I will to be honest. I don’t have the bandwidth. I’m also not looking for anything in particular and perusing the whole site is just overwhelming.
Now, the Nordstrom sale is a slightly different story. I do not find it to be the best sale of the year, however, there are some good deals on certain things. These are the things that I think are worth looking into.
Now I’m exhausted! Ha!! I wish each and every one of you the very best weekend!
Thanks so much for stopping by today, I appreciate you being here. Please consider signing up to receive my posts by email and following me on Instagram and Pinterest.
