Happy Friday friends and cheers to the weekend! Today I thought I’d share a few beauty favorites I’ve been using and loving lately.
I’ll kick things off with one I didn’t want to love but I do. This dry shampoo. Here’s the thing, I have fine, thin hair and on top of that it is oily. Three days a week I start the day with a bootcamp class – my hair is soaked with sweat afterwards. I cannot use dry shampoo on those days and on the other days if I don’t have plans I can get by without washing my hair. But this product really helps. I love that it adds so much volume and body. Why didn’t I want to love it? Because it’s on the pricey side but I’ve decided it’s worth it.
I have oily nail beds that keep polish from lasting more than a few days. Although my very favorite shade of nail polish is Mod About You from OPI it peels off within a day or two. I have much better luck with Sally Hansen products. Lisa reminded me of this formula when she shared the color Petal Pusher. I bought Petal Pusher and then bought Pumped Up Pink. Have you tried it? It sure does dry fast and it does not peel off my nails!
If you like pink lipstick then you’ll love this as much as me! The shade is Silver Pink and I found it on Amazon. I like the formula and the shade!
My very favorite new beauty product is this make up brush. AMAZING! I have tried the cult favorite beauty blender, sponges, and traditional make up brushes. But after hearing good reviews about this particular brush I wanted to give it a try. I found this less expensive alternative and LOVE it! My make up goes on so much better and more quickly. I had heard it gives an airbrush finish to make up application – I love what it does for my skin! Have you tried one of these brushes? Also? My favorite brush cleaner works very well this brush too!
Finally, this product has been a really nice primer. Charlotte Tilbury is killing it in the make up world and I swear everything the woman touches turns to GOLD. My large pores are enjoying this!
