Happy, happy Friday! I am hoping you had a wonderful 4th for those of you living in the good ole USA! This has been a particularly terrific week for me because my school was closed and my husband was off so it really felt like a staycation – one of my very favorite kinds of vacation!
I’m kicking this FF off with a favorite from last week – hangin’ with my girl Shelly while she was in town. Bonus: I got to meet her darling daughter Carly and her sweet niece Morgan. Oh how I wish we lived closer!

Last week I mentioned my lip obsession. My sweet friend Gina offered my two lipsense colors that did not work for her. I love them! In case you didn’t know, Amazon sells lipsense products so I ordered the gloss and the oops remover for around $30. You can get it here and buy color here. Great deal!
While I was pecking around Amazon I found Shadowsense. I purchased the mocha java and love it. Not only can I use it as eyeshadow but it works well on my brows too. Goes on easily and stays on! You can get it here.Have you tried it?
Another favorite came from my friend Lisa. She shared a simple cobbler recipe on Instagram. It was so easy I just had to make it and it was delicious! I have made it twice in the last week – once with apple pie filling and then for the 4th with blueberry pie filling!
Speaking of food, a new Sprouts grocery store opened in our neighborhood. I picked up cauliflower pizza crust – it was BOGO. I loved it! Unlike the one from Trader Joe’s this one does not need to be cooked (prior to adding toppings). It is crispy and delicious!
One last favorite before I sign off – my husband and I saw the movie Yesterday on Monday night. Y’all it was so good! If you are looking for a feel good, enjoyable movie – this is it! I want to listen to every single Beatles song!
