The last Friday of August is here and we are headed into a long holiday weekend, does it get any better? This week I thought I’d share some of my favorite recent purchases with you, so here goes!
Favorite #1 – Gosh, I love this new top! In fact I tried getting it in other colors but didn’t care for the ones they had in my size. It’s slightly longer in back and has a cute v- detail. It goes well with my pink cargo pants but I think it will be great with denim and white too! Of course I have to include a few pictures from my favorite moment of the last week – getting together with Kim of Fierce Fashion!
Favorite #2 – On Sunday I stopped in the Sephora located in JcPenney’s. I wanted a new foundation. It’s not that I was unhappy with what I was using but with so many new formulations coming out all the time I find it hard to be loyal, ya know? I mean, maybe I am missing out on something fabulous! Anyhow, after speaking with the beauty advisor and telling her my criteria (long wearing, matte, full coverage) I was directed to this foundation by Kat Von D. It’s available in so many shades but it took only a few minutes and I was in business. Sephora has tool that scans your skin and determines your perfect match! So not only is this foundation full coverage and long wearing, the price is excellent as it is under $40!
Favorite #3 – Another favorite of mine from Sephora is their brand of eyeliners. At only $12 they rival my old favorites from Urban Decay at a fraction of the price! I use this one in stone. Have you ever tried any of Sephora’s pencils?
Favorite #4 – I have been on the hunt for a new fragrance for a few months. For years I’ve worn Viva La Juicy and while I love it I wanted to try something new. I finally decided on this one by Versace. I am just in love with the scent!
