Today I am sharing the Forever Dress by Jana Carrick Designs. At first glance you are thinking it’s a basic t-shirt dress available at almost every retailer. It’s honestly what my initial thought was too! I was wrong about that and hopefully by the end of the post, you’ll understand what makes the Forever Dress so special!
Forever Dress
Why even call something forever? Will you actually wear a dress forever? I know, I know. It may be a rhetorical question or just plain ridiculous. But Jana Carrick designed this dress to be a good basic, wardrobe staple in any woman’s closet. It can be dressed up or down and comes in seasonal colors. There’s a wide variety of sizes and you can customize your dress by adding an extra 2 inches to the length.

While the best dress for me is a v-neck with short sleeves, the Forever Dress is available in a crew neck version and a 3/4 sleeve option is available as well.
All the options aside, what makes this dress different than any other t-shirt dress on the market is the fabric. Hard to explain, but the cotton fabric has a good weight to it without being too heavy. The dresses are made in the USA – completely – no outsourcing. This is very important to the designer, Jana Carrick. The dress is designed to be stylish yet forgiving, a concept I can get behind!
Styling the Forever Dress
The Forever Dress is a cornerstone of your wardrobe, it is versatile and basic enough to wear for almost every occasion. I had the pleasure of partnering with Jana Carrick on a social media campaign, so the dress was gifted to me. I had fun styling it a few different ways and wore it for date night Friday night.

The Truth
The truth is that I work with brands for social media campaigns and rarely do those products end up on my blog. I don’t like to be paid to promote on my blog – this is my space and I don’t care to have anyone proofreading my post ahead of time and telling me what to say. So when I saw the dress online I figured it would be one and done! But the dress was much better in person than online and because it exceeded my expectations, I knew it would find its way to the blog.
I am also so very happy to support and promote a small, woman owned business. Jana Carrick is an absolute delight and you can read more about her and why she created the Forever Dress here.
