Finally Fall Friday Favorites

Friday is not a day I like to miss when it comes to blogging, it’s a favorite day for sure. That being said, please accept my apologies for the lack of a post last Friday. After a few days at our staff conference I was beat and had to grant myself some grace. But it’s finally fall and I am excited to be back in my routine!

It is finally fall on the calendar but that means nothing here in Florida. Well, except for the fact that I will start wearing booties, jackets, and sweaters whilst sweating to death. Each year I feel like my fashion choices somehow influence mother nature and will bring about a temperature change. In any case, I’ll share a few fashion favorites with you so you’ll know what I am most excited to wear this fall.

Fall Fashion

Recently I have added a few favorite pieces to my closet. I feel good about each of these purchases and know I will get plenty of wear out of each of them.

Lady Jackets! Oh goodness, I cannot get enough of these. You have seen the blue and white striped one from JCrew but I have since added a pink one to my wardrobe. This one is thicker and definitely has a vintage vibe. The details are stunning – gold/pearl buttons, and beautiful stitching. I am wearing it in a small – it comes in other colorways too!

Pants & Jeans On Monday I shared with you my new slouchy, wide legged denim. Well, needless to say I love them. They are by far the most expensive jeans I have ever owned but I have zero buyers remorse. Another pair of pants I can’t seem to get enough of is this pair of burgundy pants from H&M – at only $19.99 they are the complete opposite end of the spectrum from the denim. Just goes to show that great fashion is available at all price points!

I mean, come on, do these pants look like they cost $20? And how about the silk blouse? It’s washable and so affordable.

The tonal ecru denim I bought over Labor Day weekend is my final favorite for this category. They fit and feel like a dream!

Before I wrap up the fashion portion, I want to tell you that Paige is having 25% off sitewide. If you do not already own a pair of premium denim this is a good time to grab a pair. I believe ever woman should own at least one pair of premium denim – they are different and there’s nothing quite like them!

Family Fall Favorites

One of my favorite things about fall is all the fun occasions we celebrate! My mom’s birthday, anniversaries, and of course the holidays. Last weekend was a good one with the family – I had both of my boys home last weekend which was such a gift. after celebrating my mom on Friday night, we went to the Winter Garden Farmer’s Market and enjoyed a beautiful day!

This weekend will be another full one! This morning my group is responsible for breakfast at the mom’s group I attend at church. Over 200 women attend! The group has really been such a blessing to me in so many ways and for that I am grateful. Saturday I am hosting a bra fitting at our local Dillard’s and on Sunday I am attending a brunch and then an event at church. It will be Monday before I know it!
