Faux Leather Pants for Spring

When you think of faux leather, do you immediately think of black faux leather leggings? I’m kind of over them actually. I don’t think I even wore mine this season. What I am loving is faux leather pants. Particularly these faux leather pants for spring! The color feels less heavy than black and the slim, straight fit is flattering.

The color of these pants is beachwood beige and they are an interesting mix of taupe, gold, and khaki. Whenever I wear them I get compliments because they are unexpected. Right now they are on a crazy good sale. I’d say they are the kind of pants you can wear three seasons out of the year. As a bonus they actually feel better the longer you wear them as they seem to get softer and softer! I find them to run TTS and they come in different inseam lengths.

How to Style Them Now

Whether you are wearing them for work or play, these faux leather pants are easy to style. I love the versatility they offer! It’s a nice change of pace to wear faux leather in an different color. My preference is to pair them with neutral tops but honestly, a more colorful top would work as well.

The first two looks feature the blazer I gave been raving about for years. My horsebit mules are from Avara. Let me tell you how pleasantly surprised I was at how comfortable they are. They run TTS and the stacked heel is the perfect height. I wore them all day Saturday with no issues! Use my code THISBLONDE15 to save 15%. This is a really good shoe for spring and summer!

Sorry for the pale feet, but don’t let that distract you from the cap toe slingbacks. I’ve had these for a few years but I’m linking several options. This is a classic design that is trendy right now. A great shoe that will work with so much.

Here’s what I wore on Saturday. My top actually has a peplum that I tucked in and then threw my 20 year old denim jacket over. Yes, you read that right. My denim jacket is 20 years old. I remember buying it at Gap when my boys were still in diapers. Classics never go out of style!

Even though I initially bought these pants in December, I wore them a few times before discovering what felt ‘off’ about them to me. It was the length. I decided I really liked them and took them to the tailor. Below you can see the before and after of having these pants hemmed. It makes a big difference and if I had it to do over again I would have ordered these in the short length. The shorter length is better on my frame and will allow me to enjoy these through spring!

So, are you a fan of faux leather for spring? Would you wear these?
