Fall officially begins Tuesday but when you live in a warmer climate (and that’s putting it mildly here in FL it’s hot as you know what!) it doesn’t matter what the calendar says. Heck, there have been years it’s been in the 80’s at Christmas!
When fall rolls around I am officially tired of wearing all my summer clothes, I crave change and I wanna wear what the rest of the world is wearing! Fall clothes! The answer is adding accessories to your dresses to bring them up to speed with the current season.
This first dress was one I purchased last spring. I’m so happy to report that it’s still available (8 colorways including a long sleeve version). I added booties and a hat and just like that hello fall!
The second dress is an oldie but a goody! I bought it a few years ago and it’s still going strong. It’s t-shirt material but better and washed up like a dream. The ruching adds something special. It’s still available in lots of colors and there’s a long sleeve version as well!
Kept the accessories all the same but then finally added one of the cozy cardigans I purchased in the NSale. Perfect for fall!
Y’all fell in love with the Target dresses I shared here. This one is my favorite and while it looks great with wedges by changing into booties and a hat I’m ready for fall.
I hope you’ll consider adding accessories to some of the pieces you already own to carry you through the next season. It’s a budget friendly way to help add excitement to your closet. This hat is new to me and made so well. I have a darker one from Target and it’s not quite as sturdy. Wearing a hat is a great way to make up for a bad hair day as well as add a little style! The necklace is one you see me wearing alot because it’s versatile and that good!
My hope is that you are thinking of ways to dress for fall even if you the temperatures are still warm where you live. Maybe it’s adding a new dress or new accessories, what do you think?
