Over the weekend I met my friend Jona in downtown Winter Park to shop and have lunch. It was a beautiful, sunny yet cool day in Central Florida. The kind that has you anxious for Spring weather and fashion. I arrived first at Evereve (our meeting spot) and ended up in the fitting room with lots to try on!
Evereve Try On
It started with this beautiful, pink button down. Before I knew it I had a fitting room filled with all kinds of goodness, including shoes. If you have ever shopped at Evereve you know how helpful they are! Once they know your size and have an idea of what your style is, they work their magic. I appreciate their styling and fit expertise. For reference, I am wearing a size 4 in all bottoms and a small in all tops including the dress.

The Try On
The button down pink shirt is so good. I love the color and the stripes as well as the fit. I tried it with these olive green pants. They are a bit of a barrel cut style – which I don’t like. At all. But I am glad I tried them. I think the other pair is far more flattering.

It is impossible to go to Evereve and not try on denim. The sales associates are fit experts! I had never tried on anything from Edwin and when they suggested this pair, I was so glad they did! This pair felt like leggings, so comfortable.
This white, guazy top was something the sales associate chose for me. At first, I thought no way. In fact I almost didn’t even try it on. But it felt so soft and I loved the fit – needless to say I was glad I tried it on! See the striped shirt behind me? I did not try it on because I already fell in love with the pink one!

I also tried this pair from Agolde. I did not love them as much as I had hoped.

I was drawn to the stripes on this vest as well as the neckline. I tried it on in a small.

The final piece I tried on was this dress. It caught my eye – the print and the style. It would be so nice for Spring and Summer.

The sales associate brought me these shoes by Corkease to try. They were so comfortable!
What I Bought
I bought a total of 3 items. The pink button down, the white guazy top, and the shoes. These will be pieces I’ll reach for over and over again through summer.
What I really enjoy about Evereve is that they seem to specialize in elevated basics and the sales associates are helpful without being pushy. It seems like I visit once each season, you can see my Fall 22 try on here. I have had Nordstrom’s sales associates take things right out of my hands and say they’ll keep them at the register for me – talk about pressure! I feel like I have to slink away or explain why I am not purchasing something. It’s just kind of uncomfortable for me. I’d love to know your thoughts on the type of help you like when shopping, tell me below!
