Hi friends! It’s been a minute since I’ve posted a good old fashioned Friday Favorites. To be honest I have felt pulled in many different directions lately and this post almost didn’t happen at all. Anyone else feeling like it’s hard to keep all the balls in the air sometimes? Wonder what would happen if you stepped away? I think about it at times. But I know what would happen. I’d find another way to fill my time because that’s what busy people do! Enough of that…let’s get to:
Early September Friday Favorites
As you might have guessed, this post will be a hodge podge of things. But that is one of the things I enjoy about Friday Favorites posts! I am sharing a favorite snack, books, and new shoes.
Popcorn has been a favorite snack of mine over the years. I recently purchased this air popper on Amazon. What a game changer! I will not be buying any more microwave popcorn, this is so easy and so much better. It’s an air popper that works in the microwave and it collapses for easy storage. Genius!
Okay, I realize it’s rather early in the month to say I have found a favorite book of the month but I really enjoyed A Flicker in the Dark. Previously I read The Second Husband. Of the two I liked A Flicker in the Dark much more. I am also reading (as part of the women’s group at church) Find Your People. Have you read anything good lately?
Favorite Fall Shoes
New season, new shoes! I have been enjoying buying new Fall shoes and have several favorites. Yesterday I shared these off white sock boots. They are a lot of fun to style and really make a great shoe to wear in early Fall – you know when you aren’t quite ready for the dark, heavy boots of Winter. Off white is a great option!
When I ordered those off white boots I also ordered these sneakers. They are a nice dupe for a more expensive version. This colorway is a nice option for comfort and can be worn in place of booties. So don’t even think twice about how you’d wear them – just replace any boot or bootie with these!
I was thrilled to receive a package containing 4 pair of Vionics on Sunday. It felt like Christmas! I’ll be sharing them all eventually but right now I want you to know about these two. The Cynthia is a trendy, lug sole loafer with a chain detail that makes it so special. The Adalena is a gorgeous and sexy heel. You would NEVER believe these are comfort shoes!
Thanks for coming by today and if you haven’t already, I’d love to have you subscribe to my blog. Your readership means so much to me! I wish you a wonderful weekend – we have plans for dinner tonight with friends and we are watching football on Saturday. It’s the making of a wonderful September weekend!
