Comfortable and Stylish

Is it possible to be both comfortable and stylish? Some would say no. I disagree however and today’s look will prove that yes, it is possible to be both stylish and comfortable. Oh and one more thing – it doesn’t have to break the bank!

My outfit feels just as comfortable as wearing a pair of pajamas! No zips, no snaps, no buttons just pull on easy to wear pieces. Right down to my shoes. I threw on my denim jacket to deal with the air conditioning. My jacket is from Gap and it is 14 years old but just like a woman it gets better with age! This one is similar and so is this one.

I spotted this twist front tee at Kohl’s when I ran in to pick up a pair of tennis shoes I ordered online. A few months ago I ordered a twist front tee from Nordstrom. I really love the way it styles itself but the only other colors available were rather drab. I craved something more lively so I was pleasantly surprised that Kohl’s had this bright blue as well as a magenta color available.

You may remember my first foray of the year with wide leg pants here. That ended badly but I don’t generally give up that easily. I grabbed these pants and fell in love! I am wearing the pants in a medium.

This is the outfit I wore on Mother’s Day. After picking Nolan up from the airport we went out for Mexican. The elastic waistband came in handy while I ate my body weight in chips and salsa!

So if your goal when getting dressed is similar to mine – you crave style and comfort – choose easy pieces that fit well and have details like the twist front. Color is helpful too and while you’re at it throw on a necklace! Mine necklace is one I purchased last year from Baublebar.

Thanks for stopping by today, it means so much to me!
