April went by in a flash but I continued to keep track of my monthly purchases and share it all with you! So it’s time again for Closet Confessions: April. My purchases were good this month, in my opinion. No regrets here – I like it all!

Purchase #1
My first purchase of the month was this sleeveless gingham blouse from Ann Taylor. With Summer coming and the heat here in FL, sleeveless is the way to go. I like the classic print and styling too. Bonus: it will work perfectly under jackets and blazers in cooler weather! The blouse cost $30 on sale, it is currently on sale for 40% off.

Purchase #2
The next purchase was another shirt! When I did my in-store try on at Loft, I regretted not buying the boyfriend striped button up. I had really wanted the pink version but it was sold out online. Loft had a sale, I had a reward and the total cost was $12.40 – major score! I love it and have worn it several times already. It is currently 40% off, I got a size medium.

Purchase #3
Last month I purchased a pair of black Metro shorts from Ann Taylor. I mentioned not being sure if I’d keep them or not. They were just a little shorter than I prefer, so I ended up returning them and purchasing a pair of Boardwalk shorts instead in navy blue. The difference was $30. I haven’t owned navy shorts in forever and feel they’ll be a good addition to my wardrobe!

Purchase #4
I am crazy about Chico’s no iron shirts and when they go on sale I pounce! My 4th purchase was this beautiful hot pink number (Azalea Cherry). I adore these essential shirts. Slowly all of my button up shirts will be replaced with versions that do not wrinkle easily. I bought the shirt in a size 0. I also purchased a stretch bracelet. The total spent: $93.72.

Purchase #5, #6, and #7
Target got a fair but of attention from me in April. I was dress obsessed and fell head over heels with this slip dress as well as the balloon sleeve midi dress. You’ve seen them multiple times and I’ve worn and washed them multiple times. Grab one or all 3 for yourself as the 30% off sale ends Saturday. These dresses are well made and flattering – perfect for any occasion! P.S. I am wearing the dresses in a size small. I paid $75.00 for the three dresses.

Purchase #8
The Free Assembly line at Walmart is so good. The quality of their pieces is so impressive. My final purchase of the month is a good one, these cropped wide leg pants rival the Spanx version and are a fraction of the cost. I selected white asparagus but they have them in rose and olive as well – both of those colors are only $18! I am wearing a size 6, I love them and may buy another pair. So. Good. The total was $31.80.
Total Spent
My total spent this month for the 8 pieces came to a whopping $272.92. I think that is amazing! So far this year, I’ve spent a total of $1,424.02. You can go back and see my purchases from January, February, and March.
