This time of year is a sweet spot for me – I get so excited about the cooler weather and fall styles that are on the horizon. When I am getting ready for the day or taking a bubble bath (I take several a week!) I watch YouTube videos. Many of them are fashion related and lately there’s been a lot of talk about trends for fall. One of the trends is camo. Let’s be clear camo never completely disappeared but this year we’re seeing more of it – do you have to care about trends? No, no you do not. HOWEVER, if you desire to be stylish and relevant, you need to be aware of what’s on trend. You don’t have to wear it of course but knowing is half the battle.
Camo Comeback – There’s No Hiding
The thing about a trend is that it slowly works its magic and before you know it, you find yourself drawn to it – hello, barrel jeans that I SWORE I would never wear. So, yeah, you may be thinking your camo days are over but guess what? The camo comeback is real and there is no hiding from it!
I may not be ready to go head to toe camo but I sure do enjoy a fun, inexpensive piece that works with the rest of my closet. How I resisted the urge to buy these $17 camo pants. So glad I gave in and grabbed them because they are not only a fun way to update my style game but I feel incredible when I wear them. I feel like I’m wearing $100 pants – and I am being so serious when I say that!
Styling Camo
Since camo is in fact a neutral, the print goes with everything. The only limit is the one you impose on yourself. So allow your creativity to take over! Sizing note on these – I bought a small but they seem to run a little big. I like them baggy but if you don’t order a size down. There is elastic at the back of the waistband.
The way I’ve styled these camo pants is how I’ll actually be wearing them, or already have. I’m not sharing styles for a life I don’t live so if your lifestyle is different than mine, add your own twist!
