Bought it Online – White T-Shirt

Today our fashion theme is online purchases and the sweetest girl in the land, Katie of The Mishaps and Mayhem of a Solitary Life is our hostess. Be sure to stop by and tell her hello. Seriously, I saved you a seat so you have to go. #crackingmyselfup

Again, I am overjoyed by the theme because, online shopping? I know this!

Gosh I love him!

The majority of my shopping is done online. I very rarely pay shipping charges and the convenience can’t be beat. Finding the perfect white tee is a mission I have been on since Gina mentioned it. Online shopping is the best way to be able to compare different versions of an item side by side in the comfort of your home.

Based on recommendations I ordered tees from Target, Walmart, Amazon, and Nordstrom. I paid zero shipping and everything arrived within a few days, easy peasy!

First up is the Walmart Time and True v-neck tee. This was a suggestion made by my friend Laura of I do deClaire. The price cannot be beat at just $5.88! I ordered a small and a medium. The small was way too clingy, the medium was better but overall I think it’s a little snug. I also think the v isn’t quite deep enough for me.#Time and True V-neck tee

The second tee is the Madewell Whisper Tee. I have it in grey but it got a little hole in it shortly after I purchased it and had worn it a few times so I was leery about ordering it again. For the price it’s a good tee – the v-neck isn’t too deep and the cotton is soft. It’s not see through either, I ordered a small. The only thing I don’t love about it is the sleeve length, I wish it was just a bit longer. #Madewell Whisper Tee

The third option is from Nordstrom’s BP line. A great price at just $15 and decent shirt. The problem with this one was the length of the shirt itself – I’m afraid it would shrink. I ordered a small, maybe a medium would have been better. #BP tee

Another house brand from Nordstrom is Halogen and that’s the brand of this next V-neck. It is actually a tunic so that’s the reason for the length. It’s a modal cotton – very soft. I ordered a small. It seemed a bit clingy to me. #Halogen tee

As part of my Prime Wardrobe I ordered this two pack of v-neck tees in a size small. This tee is from the Amazon Essentials line. I wasn’t a fan of the fabric – it’s 94% polyester and has spandex in it as well. If you have no lumps, bumps, or bulges this would be a great option. I also think it would work well under a jacket or cardi. It got a definite NO from me.#Amazon Essentials Tee

Finally, I ordered this ruffle sleeve tee from Target. It comes in white, grey, and yellow. It’s a blend of polyester, rayon, and spandex and feels quite luxurious. The brand is A New Day. I ordered a medium and a small, the small fit the best. At $16.99 this one is well worth it. My only concern was whether or not the ruffle detail would get in the way if I wore a cardigan or jacket with it – it didn’t! This one is the winner!#Ruffle sleeve v-neck tee

While I’m talking about Target and online purchases I have to share my recent favorite. These wedges are terrific. I have them in blush and I’ve worn them several times already. Out to dinner, to a few appointments and for St. Patrick’s Day. They are a great dupe for the more expensive (and not leather) version you’ll see all over blogland. My advice is to save your money and get these from Target.

A final word about online shopping. Look for retailers who offer free shipping and free returns. I don’t mind returning an item in store but I will NOT pay to ship something back to someone. I am not above adding items to my order to reach the minimum for free shipping and then returning what I don’t want. Until everyone offers free shipping that’s what I’ll do. How about you? Made any fabulous purchases online lately?
