Three words I do not throw around lightly: best strapless bra. But let me tell you, this one is the real deal. This is the season of strapless, one shoulder, spaghetti straps, etc. and I have found myself avoiding these because of the bra situation. You might remember that not long ago I wrote this post on finding the right bra so clearly this is a subject that is important to me.
Best Strapless Bra
To earn the title of the best strapless bra, a few requirements need to be met. The bra:
- must be supportive
- comfortable
- needs to stay put – no sliding down
- needs to have thicker sides so there are no side bulges
- has to smooth the back – no back fat bluging
- must be size inclusive and available in lots of colors
This bra checks all the boxes and bonus: it is extremely affordable. It’s under $30! While the low price is certainly nice it’s not a requirement. Good bras are one area I don’t mind investing in because they make all the difference.
Best Strapless Bra For Large Busts
As someone with a large bust, I am always searching for a bra with a minimizing effect. No jiggle no bulging, no back fat, no uniboob. This is a tall order. A few years ago I was fitted at Nordstrom with the bra that gets rave reviews from lots of influencers. The fit isn’t bad bit it’s definitely not a minimizer. It’s also not especially comfortable.
I thought it would be helpful to see a comparison of my new bra and my old bra when worn with the same top. I am wearing the new bra in a 34E and the old bra in a 34DDD. The bra does have underwire – which I think is important and it comes with detachable straps – so it is convertible.
Will it Work on a Smaller Bust
Yes! Several women with a smaller bust have tried this bra as well and reported great results. While I can only speak as to how it fits my larger bust, I can see why it would work for anyone.
How it Wears
I have worn the bra twice and happily report it was comfortable, required no tugging and didn’t dig into my sides. It’s a winner in my book and when I shared it on Instagram, I heard from so many women who were excited to give it a try! How about you? Are you looking for a good strapless bra?
