Best Drug Store Beauty Finds
With prices going up on everything lately, it’s time to save money without sacrificing quality in all areas. The products I am sharing today are ones I’ve been using for some time and have or will re-purchase. That’s the ultimate product testimonial in my opinion – with so many options available if it’s a repeat purchase it’s worthy of a spot on the best drug store beauty finds list!

Best Drug Store Make Up Finds
Drug store beauty brands are giving premium lines a run for their money. Wet n Wild, E.L.F., Milani, and Maybelline top the list. Let’s talk foundation. Wet n Wild’s Photofocus foundation provides great coverage without feeling heavy. I use the matte formula and find it does a nice job of covering my large pores.
Elf BB Cream has been in my drawer for awhile now in the shade medium. It’s darker than my normal day to day but works very well when I’m using my self tanner. The coverage on this one is medium to full. I was actually surprised that it’s a BB cream! It feels like skincare going on and gives my skin a luminous finish. Bonus: it is under $10 and has an SPF of 20.
When it comes to concealer, Milani’s Conceal + Perfect is a winner. This rivals Tarte Shape Tape for a fraction of the cost. The formula is silky and smooth and blends easily. It’s under $10.
Best Drug Store Lip Products
Maybelline has won me over with two of their lip products. Vinyl Ink is long wearing, feels good on the lips, and delivers beautiful color. It’s not a matte finish and it’s not sticky like lipgloss. I have it in the shade Peachy, a pretty neutral. Ill be purchasing the shade Coy next. Pro tip: order this product online, it’s popular and very hard to find in stores.
Another must have from Maybelline is the Super Stay Ink Crayon lipstick. The shade Lead the Way is a great dupe for Pillow Talk from Charlotte Tilbury. This is such a great every day color, I believe it’s universally flattering as well. It feels so creamy and smooth on, like a lip treatment rather than a beauty product. It’s easy to apply since it’s designed like a crayon.
Best Drug Store Skin Care
I’ve shared my skin care routine in the past and I’m still using all of those products. The Ordinary continues to win critical acclaim for product effectiveness and affordability. No fancy packaging to drive up the cost equates to a skin care regimen practically accessible to us all. Practically accessible because you cannot find these products at the drug store but you can at Ulta and Sephora. However, even in these stores, the entire product line is not available. You’ll need to shop online and because the prices are already so low the line is excluded from the use of coupons and extra discounts. Do yourself a favor though and check out The Ordinary because it is worth it. The line is extensive and can be overwhelming but if you search YouTube you’ll be sure to find the information you need to devise a routine that will work for your particular needs.
Body Lotion & Self Tanner
Great looking skin starts with moisturizer. For years I used this one and then got antsy and started trying others. This one smells good yet the scent is not overpowering. It’s not greasy, dries quickly but seems to perk my skin up.
Self tanner is on heavy rotation for me year round. This is my latest obsession. Loving Tan was my tanner of choice for almost two years. It’s pricey but it dried quickly and delivered good color. However, in the last year something has changed. I could barely tell when I used it because the color faded so quickly and was so light – even though I was using the dark formula. Enter this line, I saw it at Walmart for under $10 and figured why not. Now the only question I ask myself is why I waited so long to try it. It dries quickly, does not smell at all, and the color is so natural and beautiful – I am obsessed!
Neck Treatment
Regardless of what we do on the rest of our bodies, the one area we can’t seem to fix quickly is the neck. I heard about this on Tik Tok and gave it a try – I really like the combo and what it delivers. I only use it at night (when I’m not self tanning). Use Eucerin Intensive Repair and Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair Retinol Pro together – just a smidge of the Eucerin and 2 drops of the Neutrogena – and rub into your neck gently. Feels great and hydrates so well!
Drug Store Beauty On My Radar
E.L.F. CC Camo Cream is rumored to rival IT Cosmetics CC Cream. The packaging is very similar and the reviews are excellent. I’d like to give this a try. E.L.F. also makes an eyeshadow crayon in the shade bronze metal that comes highly recommended. The Hydrating camo concealer is worth a try as well if your under eye area is dry. Milani blush in the shade Dolce Pink is so beautiful but I don’t need any blush at the moment.
Your Turn
Now it’s your turn, do you have any tried and true drug store products you use? I do believe that there are some products worth the money but if an alternative can be found, why not?
