Hey friends! Sorry for my absence on Friday. Life got the best of me and I just didn’t have the time to put a post together. I granted myself some grace and let it go. But I am back today and this post is chock full of Amazon recent purchases including these faux leather pink pants. I saw them last week when my friend Joy shared them. Impulse buy for sure but pink is my color and these had to be further investigated!
Faux Leather Pink Pants from Amazon
Faux leather is everywhere this time of year and with hot pink trending, this pair is a match made in heaven. Joy mentioned that she sized up so I did too. My initial reaction upon opening the package was the plasticy smell! Warning – they feel are not kidding about the faux part – nothing about these pants will fool you into thinking they are leather. But they are FUN!
They have a zipper up the side and a split hem. There is also seaming down the front to further elongate the leg. I am wearing them in a medium and the length is perfect on my 5 foot 5 self! And listen, if hot pink is not your thing, they do come in 4 other colorways.
Styling Pink Faux Leather
To keep things classy and elegant (is this even possible with hot pink faux leather?) I styled these pants with neutral colors. When wearing something this loud, I like to keep the rest of the outfit toned down. But let me emphasize that this idea works for me and is certainly not a rule. If you imagine yourself wearing these pink pants with a brightly colored top then go for it!
More Prime Purchases
In addition to the pink faux leather pants, I made MANY Prime purchases in November. My boys sent me links to several Christmas presents and then I also found a few must haves for myself as well as things that needed to be replenished.
Christmas Gifts Purchased on Prime
My older son asked for this weighted blanket and this spray. Apparently this spray turns any typical toilet paper into a wipe. This son of mine is obsessed with hygiene so if you know someone like that, you may find this interesting!
My younger son had a few phone accessories on his list, all found on Amazon Prime. This phone mount as well as this case and screen protectors. My Christmas shopping literally took 10 minutes for my two sons. They do a great job of providing me links with all the information needed so I am simply clicking and paying.
My Prime Purchases
I am determined to use all of my current decor this year for Christmas but we did find ourselves in need of a new doormat. I spotted this one with the Nutcracker theme and I love it!
This crystal and rhinestone bag is possibly my favorite purchase. It rivals high end bags in every way except cost. A shoulder bag will always be my pick over a clutch. This Wet n Wild Glo Stick is something I was influenced by from a TikTok creator. I use it as a contour stick and I am so completely blown away by it. The color is Where’s Walnut and it blends so easily with an Elf brush I have. Speaking of makeup, I had to repurchase a new bottle of the best brush cleaner. How I wish I could find something more affordable that worked as well so if you have any recommendations, please share! Another repurchase was my Elta MD Daily Sunscreen. The final repurchase of the month was my magnetic eyelashes. I may not wear them everyday but with holiday events on the calendar, I need to be ready!
When I purchased this necklace it was with the intention of returning it. I wanted to find an affordable option for this gold necklace I wear often. Turns out it’s a favorite of my readers so I wanted to find a more budget friendly option. Well, this one arrived and now I find myself wearing it almost everyday. I like that it is more adjustable than the other one I own. Grab it for yourself or as a gift!
A gift I bought for myself is this hanging toiletry bag. It has lots of good reviews and I think it will be perfect for holding all of my toiletries. This is also giving me impetus to schedule a trip! Finally, I have fallen in love with all things Aveda. I booked a series of 4 facials and have slowly integrated all of their skincare into my routine. I tried the shampoo and conditioner and really liked them but boy were they expensive! On Amazon the shampoo was much more budget friendly – thank goodness!
These are the items that are currently on my wishlist and will eventually make their way into my Christmas stocking!
That’s a Wrap
So that’s a wrap on my Prime purchases for November. Some months I hardly have any and then there are others that have the Amazon delivery truck at my house multiple times a week. I am linking up with my friend Tanya from The Other Side of the Road for her monthly Prime Purchases share. It’s my favorite because I love seeing what everyone else is finding!
