5 Pieces Multiple Outfits

Welcome to Thursday Fashion Files! Today I’m introducing you to a new to me brand, Charlie B. After seeing several influencers share the brand I was happy to collaborate. I selected 5 pieces to create multiple outfits for fall.

Gone are the days of my one hit wonders, now when I place orders I stop and think of how the proposed items will work with my existing wardrobe. In the case of the Charlie B Collection, I found a great core wardrobe. The pieces I selected include a tailored vest, striped sweater, black wash denim skirt, black ponte pants, and a wide leg cropped black pant. I’ve used 5 pieces to create multiple outfits.

I wore the same shoes with each of these outfits because I loved how they looked! Hear me out: these are on the pricey side BUT they are leather, such good quality and so very comfortable. They come in different widths as well. Let me give you a rundown of the pieces I am wearing. Let’s start with this vest! Oh goodness, I love it! The fit is on point – no gaping and regular bra friendly. This vest is lined and feels so luxe – I am also a sucker for this plaid. I am wearing it in a size small. Sadly I don’t see it on the site so I am linking one that is similar.

The first three photos I paired the vest with the bottoms I received from Charlie B. The cropped wide leg pants are a nice weight with a zip at the side. They’d be great for work or play. When it’s cooler out they’d look great with a boot. I am wearing a size 2 in these pants and the zipper at the side is a little snug – if in between sizes I say size up.

Next up is this denim midi skirt. You know how I mentioned last Thursday that black wash denim was trending?? Here it is! This skirt has the perfect amount of stretch – it does not ride up on me. The slit in the front is tasteful. I really like this skirt, I am wearing a size 2.

Finally, the pone knit flare leg pants and the vest make such a nice combo. The vest could easily be layered for cooler weather but since it’s so hot I am going it alone. These pants are a pull on style and they have small slits at the ankle. They are very comfortable – kind of like wearing a legging but in the most elevated way!

The striped sweater is a classic and I could hardly pass it up. Yes, it is way too heavy to wear anytime soon here in FL but it drapes nicely around the shoulders.

Did you know that silky blouses are all the rage this year? Well they are! This one is old but I am linking a great option. Also- do you see the mailman out front? Yep, delivering mail watching me take pictures at my front door – I do wonder what he thinks I’m doing this for???

Finally, a short sleeved silky blouse and the wide leg cropped pants come together for a faux jumpsuit. I think the sweater adds extra interest and I love the way it came together!
