Hey, hey, hey! On Monday I gave you a sneak peak of a recent purchase – my snakeskin booties from DSW. My prediction is that this is a trend that is going to be big and if you’re like me, if you see it enough you’ll want a pair. My advice is to grab a pair now. They are most definitely a neutral (just like leopard) and you can wear them a variety of ways.
The first pair I ordered was from the Nordstrom sale. This pair from Jeffrey Campbell is well made and beautiful. Unfortunately they were not comfortable on me – I needed a wider toe box. Since I just ordered these hot pink sandals (they’re on sale!) from DSW I perused their website and found exactly what I was looking for!
They look great with white, blue, and black for starters! While I’m certainly not rushing seasons I know if you want to find a pair of booties that are both affordable and comfortable you’ll need to shop early before they sell out. Take a look at this fierce combination of raw hem denim and snake skin booties(original source).
My apologies for sharing style inspiration via flat lays – it’s just too hot and I have had a heck of a week. Keep in mind that these are actually the ways I’m planning to wear my booties. It may look like a lot of print mixing but here’s the key: keep the prints separated! I am using solid color bottoms and printed tops and that is the secret to print mixing like a pro!
This first look is so easy and one I could wear now. Flare leg cropped jeans (plus) and a black tank with a simple belt.
These pants may look white but they are actually cream colored. I love the soft tones in this look, especially this blouse (similar).
Black skinnies and a colorful OTS top are perfect in my opinion with these booties. Perfect for a night out!
This look may not have photographed well because the booties are so close to the printed top but I know it will look great on! My top is from my latest Fashom box and my rattan earrings have been on repeat this summer.
I hope you have a wonderful Wednesday and I thank you for stopping by today. I’ll be back on Friday!
