Oh my goodness, has my leopard skirt worn out it’s welcome yet? I hope not because I can’t promise this will be the last time you see it. In fact I actually had more ways planned to style it but the heat prevented me from going all the way!
The truth of the matter is that I keep seeing so many cute ways to style it I can’t help myself! Something to note – while it is hotter than you-know-what here it was windy when we took these pictures. It’s worth mentioning because it caused the skirt to billow a bit when in fact it’s not voluminous at all.
Since the first time I shared the skirt I went super casual with a graphic tee let’s start with a dressier version. It’s hard to appreciate the detail in my black camisole but it ties in the front and drapes so nicely. I added a sparkly necklace a friend gave me years ago. I still enjoy a statement necklace even though it seems that dainty, layered necklaces are on trend. I say wear what you like!
Because I am a hopeful woman, I believe that the weather will one day cool enough that I can actually wear this next ensemble. This is one of my very favorite long cardigans purchased from the 2018 Nordstrom Sale. I love the color and the fit. While I chose open toe booties white sneakers would work well too.
This one is a no brainer and I had to decide if I wanted to wear it to bible study on Friday morning or church on Saturday night. So yes, it’s actually one I can wear now as long as where I’m headed has A/C! Now you know I’m a bargain shopper but there are a few things I say are worth paying more for – like my denim jacket. It’s honestly 15 or 16 years old from Gap and at the time it was a splurge. But I still love it and it has lasted longer than some marriages!
Thank you for indulging me. I’ll be back with more fun ways to wear my new favorite skirt. Leopard may not be your thing but simply replace the skirt with what is your thing!
Make this Monday marvelous my friends and don’t forget about our Style Six Link up on Wednesday. We each picked a favorite from last week and I can’t wait to share my favorite with you and to see who my stylish sistas chose!XO,
