Here we are friends, the day before Thanksgiving! My family is rallying and celebrating, while still in the throes of deep sadness over the loss of my niece and my dad. What comforts me is thinking that my dad and my niece are spending the holiday together in Heaven. Given the events of late I haven’t really thought too much about what to wear for a holiday I didn’t think we’d celebrate.
The weather on Thanksgiving is going be….WARM! Well, 80 degrees, and that is warm for sure. For that reason my corduroy skirt will do the trick! If my legs are bare and I wear a sweater I can handle 80 degrees for a high.My skirt is sold out and so is my sweater but I found options for you! You can see other ways I’ve worn my skirt here and here.
I was on the hunt for the perfect OTK boots and I think I found them. I have tried several and they’ve all been returned, but these boots check all the boxes. I love the color, the fit, and they are reasonably comfortable. My necklace is a favorite too. I wear it so often. Listen – do yourself a major favor – shop Accessory Concierge on Black Friday. My favorite necklaces come from them and they always have a great sale!
Here’s another way to wear this skirt on Thanksgiving – and it may end up being what I actually wear if it’s too hot for my sweater. I switched out the sweater for the blouse I received from my last box from Fashom – did you see my unboxing on IG stories?
My favorite look from last week’s link up: Go Wild with an Animal Print Skirt from Just Live Joy. I love the understated elegance!
