Friday Favorites #28

Happy Friday my friends! This week has seemed so long to me, how about you? Maybe because I was on vacation for 2 weeks and this week had me back at work. No complaints here, I work from home but since I work for a virtual school things are starting to get very busy as the new school year approaches. Enough of that, let’s get to what has made my list of favorites this week!

Favorite #1 – It doesn’t really take a lot to bring me joy. I find joy in my surrounding and since I work from home I want to be able to look around and see things that bring a smile to face. Listen – nothing “makes” you happy that’s your decision but I find somethings bring a smile to my face more than others! For my 50th birthday I wanted plants for my patio and we finally found some beautiful baskets to hang outside my kitchen window. Looking outside my window and seeing these is my favorite!
These are similar and at a great price!

Favorite #2 – Getting older and dealing with hormonal issues can be overwhelming. I read this and that and then ask my doctor, yet I still feel like things could be better. I’ve talked about one of my favorite bloggers/YouTubers Tracy Hensel before. This week she came out with a 2 part video series on Menopause. It’s informative, honest, and helpful. Definitely a favorite of mine this week, go here to watch!

Favorite #3 – Did you know that July is National Ice Cream month? Well it is! I love a creamy, cold treat but not the fat and calories. Halo Top ice cream is full of flavor, fiber, and protein but low in calories! My favorite flavor? Oatmeal. So. Good.

Favorite #4 – Last weekend I bought some candles at Bath and Body Works – their 3 wicks were on sale and I had a coupon for an additional 20% off – I love burning candles! This Bergamot Waters is my favorite!

Favorite #5 – I can’t stop listening to this song! Back in high school (I graduated in 1986 thank you very much) I loved this kind of punk music right along with all the Madonna and Cyndi Lauper too. This song brings me back to when I was younger and the message is so true – life goes by fast! Also? I may have a crush on the lead singer!

Favorite #6 – This week my favorite thing to do was share the two new pair of Jambu shoes I recently acquired. One I bought and the other I won – how lucky, right? Check out the posts here and here.
So that’s it for this week. We have a busy weekend ahead but it’s all good and I am looking forward to a little downtime, how about you? I wish you the very best of weekends and I hope to see you back here next week. I thank you so much for stopping by, it means so much to me!

XO,
Kellyann
