Happy Valentine’s Day friends! How fun that it falls on a Friday this year to make your celebrations even sweeter. Our weather is supposed to be rainy and cool-ish (72 which is chilly for me!) so most likely my favorite guy and I will be on the couch watching Netflix! Do you have wonderful, over the top plans? I’ll live vicariously through you if you do!
My favorites this week are all over the place as usual but they’re all things I love. BTW, I tend to throw “love” around like confetti so consider that. Remember a few weeks ago when I shared this cute tee? Well, one of my besties loved it too and not only bought it but shared it on her Instagram!
The weather has been wicked hot lately and I am NOT happy about it. I am happy about the fact that it will be kimono season soon! I love a good kimono and spring and summer are the times of the year I grab them often. I love throwing one on with shorts and dresses for just a little extra somethin somethin! I have rounded up some just in case you are in the market, including two that are on sale for 40% off!
My love for kimonos runs deep!
I wore a favorite dress I purchased last fall on Wednesday. It’s still available and comes in many color options. So I ordered another one since it’s so good. For me dresses are better than shorts when it’s so hot!

Listen, I know you are probably so tired of me going on and on about the colorful tile bracelets but really, look at how terrific they are with this dress! Of course my LD Watkins Designs earrings are fab too!
I can’t believe I am about to say this but this nude lip is a favorite too! Last June I tried Charlotte Tilbury’s lipstick in Pillowtalk and wasn’t too crazy about it. Well, I got a sample from Sephora and now I really like it. Dare I say I love it? Maybe trying it on inside the Sephora store didn’t give me a realistic view. Also? Trying at home I was able to apply 2 coats and I could see that it lasted a long time. So I suppose it lives up to all the hype!
Two years ago we updated our kitchen, you can see that post here. You know what that means, the rest of the house is slowly getting some much needed attention. We updated our fireplace when the kitchen was done and bought new couches. Slowly we’ve made some improvements but we finally found an ottoman, new area rug, and two end tables. There’s nothing like a few new things to refresh a room and make it feel like a whole new space. I love it!
