Easter Sunday Showcase

Happy Easter friends! Just in case you need to take a break from hunting Easter eggs and eating all the candy we have our second Sunday Showcase today! Ada, Chrissy, and I are joining forces once again and this time our theme today is Easter, clever, huh?

I bought this dress a few weeks ago to wear for Easter. I love the cut and the colors (by the way it comes in three different colors). Stripes are always on my radar but since most are horizontal it’s not a pattern that always works for me. This dress has vertical stripes and I am all over it!
Since I was ordering online, I went ahead and got two sizes, small and medium. Both didn’t really work well over my large chest (or maybe my back is getting bigger?). The medium was better and longer. I added a cami and that took care of any issues with gaping. I should mention that this ruffled and striped beauty does have a hook to keep the top closed. It just doesn’t work on a busty woman like me!The dress is a linen blend so it needed to be ironed. The colors are so perfect for Spring but most of all Easter! I wore my nude heels (save, splurge)because they elongate my legs and they are comfortable. I just love the ruffle detail, it’s so feminine! This is a true wrap dress and very well made. I wore a colorful statement necklace that was given to me some years ago by my sister. It has the prettiest pastel colors! I’m sorry it’s hard to see in the photos.
What did you wear for Easter? Have you picked up some Spring dresses? Now is the time! Here are some options from Loft:

I also loved Northwest Mountain Living & Style, Cheryl is rockin’ some go-go boots with a gingham dress that’ll knock your socks off! Clearly I have a thing for gingham!
