Bright Skirt

It’s Spring Break for us this week and I have a to do list that is quite extensive. This may sound funny but one of my to do list items is to shop in brick and mortar stores! Online shopping is definitely my favorite way to shop anymore because it’s convenient and there’s no searching through racks and hoping to find my size. However, it’s nice to get back to shopping in real life so amidst the multiple appointments I have scheduled I’ll be popping into a couple of stores and have even scheduled a shopping road trip for Friday #roughlife.

So Saturday night after a great Happy Hour at Winter Park Village we popped into Adjectives Market. If you’re not local Adjectives is an eclectic boutique featuring furniture, antiques, and vintage clothing. I happened upon this great Boho skirt. It appears to be brand new but who really knows, that’s the charm of shopping in a cute boutique. It’s also kind of nice to know you’re purchasing items that are not mass produced so it’s highly unlikely someone else will be wearing the same thing!

While I cannot link my exact skirt I’ll be sure to share a few as well as some terrific maxi dresses. A skirt like mine is a staple for Spring and Summer, it goes with everything and depending on what you wear on top you can take it to work, out to dinner, shopping, etc.. I chose to wear mine with a tank and my denim jacket because lo and behold our weather has been on the cool side! I actually prefer a maxi skirt or dress to shorts in the summer, it’s so humid here I’m just more comfortable. This skirt will be a key piece when I pack for vacation because of it’s versatility.

I wore my new skirt out to breakfast and then to the Winter Park Art Festival before finally taking pictures.

This is a great time to stock up on maxi dresses and skirts along with fun jewelry. Target is having a GREAT sale, women’s and girl’s dresses, wallets, handbags, and jewelry are all BOGO 50% off! This includes the SUGARFIX line by BaubleBar.

I hope you enjoyed taking a look at my new, colorful maxi skirt and you are inspired to grab a maxi skirt rather than a pair of shorts next time. Nothing wrong with shorts but maxi skirts can be so GOOD! That’s what’s in This Blonde’s Shopping Bag today, tell me, how do you like to wear your maxi skirt? Do you own one?
